Residual chlorine measurement reagent
DPD coloring solution's optimum pH is 6.6, where its absorbance becomes the largest with fast and stable coloring for a long time.
"DPD Simply" is made from composition of color former (DPD sulfate: N,N-diethyl-p-phenylenediamine Sulfate and masking agent (CyDTA: 1,2-cyclohexanediaminetetraacetic acid; prevent interference of metal ion) at the same ratio as Japanese Standards of Food Additives (JSFA), and also composition of powder buffer in order to maintain pH of the coloring solution of sample water as 6-6.7. We used powder buffer as a substitute for buffer solution of pH6.5 indicated in the JSFA, and mixed it with DPD coloring reagent. It has good buffering and coloring abilities to serve you with easy measurement.
